In this section, you will learn how to transfer and save recordings from your device and how to analyze recordings automatically with Cardiomatics.
First, connect your Holter Monitor to your computer and open Cortrium Apex. Access your device by clicking on “Open Device”. This overview will provide you with information regarding your device, the current patient and recordings on the device.
After a recording has been completed, you can see it in the list, together with a summary of the length, the date and critical events that happened during the recording.
To order an automated report, please choose Actions and then Order Holter Report.
This step will download the recording from your device and securely upload the recording for automated analysis. Please be aware that this can take a few minutes, as the raw recordings are very large files. You can follow the progress with the indicator in the lower part of the screen.
As soon as the upload is completed, a success message will appear and the Action button will turn into a View button. Click on this View button to access the recording details. The disabled Pending button indicates that the recording is now being processed.
The automated analysis of recordings can take up to 24 hours. You will receive an e-mail, as soon as the analysis is completed. You can then access the report by clicking on Recordings in the menu and then View report on the respective recording.
This step will open your default web browser and download the .pdf report in your default Downloads directory.
If you would like to access your previous reports at a later stage, you can do so by clicking “Recordings” in the menu.
All recordings can be converted to the European Data Format (.edf format). The .edf format is a standardised format for processing biosignals and is supported by a variety of software solutions.
You can download the recording in .edf format by clicking on “Download” next to “Download recording in .EDF format”.
You can find more information about the data format on www.edfplus.info
