Before using your new Holter monitor, you need to install Cortrium Apex on your computer. In this installation guide, we will guide you through the steps to download and install Cortrium Apex on your Windows computer / laptop.
This guide is for Windows users.

¶ What is Cortrium Apex?
Cortrium Apex is a program that controls and communicates with your C3+ Holter Monitor. It is used to set up new recordings, download files to your computer after the recording and integrates with different analysis options so that you can easily get a report without leaving Cortrium Apex. All recordings will be uploaded to and stored securely in the Cortrium Apex cloud.
¶ Download and Install Cortrium Apex
You can download Cortrium Apex by following the links on our Downloads page. After getting started with your Cortrium Holter Monitor, you will receive an e-mail, confirming that you have been registered for a Cortrium Apex account. This email also contains this link, as well as important information on how to set up your Cortrium Apex user account.
On the Downloads page, Click the green button to download the current version.
After the download is completed, please open the Cortrium Apex Setup (.exe) file from your downloads directory to start the installation.
You might need to have administrative privileges on your computer to install Cortrium Apex.
If in doubt, please contact your local IT supplier.
The installation will start instantly and should be completed within a few minutes. You can follow the progress of the installation with the progress bar.
After the installation is completed, Cortrium Apex will open automatically
Firewall or anti-virus software
Cortrium Apex needs an active internet connection to function.
If you experience problems when attempting to log in to or use Cortrium Apex, you may be behind a restrictive firewall or running restrictive firewall or anti-virus software.
In this case, please contact your local IT administrator and have them whitelist the domains in this document.
